Celebrating Memories

Artists bring memories to life. Irving Middlemist and Carey Pelto are two of Gallery 113’s premier painters whose memories drive their artistic endeavors. Middlemist’s artwork recreates memories of Colorado’s spectacular scenery, such as Pagosa Springs, through color, collaged elements, and planned spaces. Pelto’s peopled paintings offer glimpses of his memories through the settings, compositions, and colors he uses in several different mediums: watercolor, pastel and ink. Gallery 113 proudly showcases these artists along with the other 17 local artists who host a First Friday Art Walk, August 7 from 5 to 8 pm with live music and complimentary snacks and beverages. Celebrate and make “Memories” with all Gallery 113’s local artists.
