Call for Entries: MENAGERIE, A MODieval Art and Fashion Showcase

Artists, designers, and creators are invited to submit original work for MENAGERIE, a one night MODieval art and fashion showcase at Meanwhile Block, The Garage.

The MODieval theme welcomes work inspired by the Middle Ages, the Mod movement of the late 1950s through the mid 1960s, or a creative combination of both. Visual art, sculpture, fiber art, fashion, costumes, accessories, performance, sound, video, and experimental work are encouraged.

Submission Details

• The submission deadline is August 31, 2026.
• Visual and performing artists may submit one to three original works in any medium.
• Apparel and costume designers may submit one garment or wearable art item. Special consideration may be given to accessory collections.
• Two dimensional work must be ready to hang. Three dimensional work must include any necessary display instructions. Sound, video, and performance submissions must include a URL.
• Each submitted work must include its title, the artist’s name, and the artist’s email address.
