UCCS Visual and Performing Arts: Music Program

Through studio arts, performance, theory, scholarship, and creative uses of media and technology, students will engage in an investigative approach to the arts, where the local and global converge, where cross-fertilization inspires critical thinking, dialogue, improvisation, and where diversity of thought is intrinsic to artistic process and practice.

The Music Program at UCCS serves a cutting edge undergraduate music degree with interdisciplinary depth, several music minor degrees, an expansive curriculum that cuts across disciplines throughout the campus, and many opportunities for UCCS students to continue a creative musical life throughout their college years in ensembles, vocal groups, and collaborations across the arts.
