A program of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association, the Manitou Chamber Music Festival is a unique environment for the study and performance of great works of classical chamber music.

The mission of the Manitou Chamber Music Festival is to bring great performers of chamber music to the town of Manitou Springs in a concentrated two-week period. The Festival also aims to provide maximum performance opportunities to students and increase the capabilities and musical understanding of young artists in order to create the artists and teachers of the future.

The Manitou Chamber Music Festival is a dual-faceted performance and education community that is created during the month of July at the foot of Pikes Peak. Faculty from around the country come together to create chamber music performances that combine beloved masterworks of the repertoire with new voices and innovative programming. Faculty artists also mentor pre-college student musicians in small groups as they delve into the world of chamber music. Students share the stage with faculty at the final concert, and student groups prepare two complete works in anticipation of the student concerts at the end of the two-week festival.
