Rotating Art Exhibit at Fountain Creek Nature Center

Since 2023, Fountain Creek Nature Center has hosted a Rotating Art Exhibit. This exhibit gives local creatives the opportunity to share their work with a new audience and supports El Paso County Nature Centers’ mission of connecting people to their natural and cultural resources.

We are currently seeking submission for July-December of 2026. Read through the details below and apply soon! There is a rolling deadline until the remainder of 2026 is filled.

Guidelines:

• Artwork must be nature related and local to Colorado.
• All items must be able to hang from a metal gridwall display. No piece can be greater than 2’ wide.
• If selected, artists are responsible for bringing in a minimum of 10 unique pieces. These pieces can be originals or prints.
• Each exhibit period lasts one month, beginning on the first business day of the month and ending on the last. Fountain Creek Nature Center is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-4pm.
• Artists are responsible for bringing in their items the week prior to the exhibit period and must pick up unsold items the week after it ends.
• Items are put up and taken down by nature center staff unless alterative arrangements are made.
• Sales will be split 70/30; 70% to the artist, and 30% to our supporting nonprofit Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers.
