Erynn Mitchell is an elegant, multifaceted, and ambitious artist from Colorado. She began her journey in filmmaking in Colorado Springs, developing close working relationships with the Independent Film Society of Colorado (IFSOC), WHATSABUDGET films, and obtained her BA in Visual & Performing arts from UCCS. In theatre she worked with Theatreworks as a Directing Apprentice, and the Fine Arts Center as a Directing Assistant for the Henry-Award Winning Anna in the Tropics.
After UCCS she moved to California to attend USC School of Cinematic Arts for her MFA. In 2022 she was awarded the Woman in Film award by IFSOC at the Colorado Short Circuit film festival for her directing work on her MFA short The Death of Socrates.
She graduated in 2024 and now lives in Los Angeles, frequently coming back to Colorado to pay tribute to the Rocky Mountains.
