About the artist:
Marilyn Campiz was born in 1966 in Chicago, IL and from there, her adventure in life began. Raised in Minneapolis, MN and decided to escape her harsh winters by joining the Air Force in 1988. Balancing a military career, becoming a wife and mother during her early military years, she then pursued her education. Finishing an AAS (1992), BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (2003) and her MBA/HRM (2006). She decided after a few life changing events to retire from the Air Force and pursue her dreams to write. While still in the Air Force, her first book, The Erotic Writings of Unobtainable (2007) was released. This solidified her decision to write. She started writing for a new UK-based Emagazine, Chic Today which grew from columns to submissions about the Arts community. Her second book, 'Season of Want' was just released in 2008. In early 2008, she returned to Colorado to be in a more solid atmosphere to continue writing. Shortly after her arrival, she went to Paris, France to write, The Paris Diaries, released in October 2008. Marilyn Campiz believes strongly in being an unconventional woman. "The reality is, the only boundaries that exists for achieving any dream one has, are placed by those ones you place upon yourself."
