Add Review/CommentComic novelist and performer Marc Acito blows the dust off the musty tradition of the author appearance in this evening of stories and songs guaranteed to shock, amuse and inspire. Acito's first novel, How I Paid for College: A Novel of Sex, Theft, Friendship and Musical Theater, was selected as an Editors' Choice by the New York Times. A film adaptation is in the works at Columbia Pictures and it has been translated into five languages the author does not speak. The hit sequel, Attack of the Theater People, is on sale in bookstores now. A 1990 graduate of Colorado College, Acito is also a regular commentator on National Public Radio's All Things Considered. Sponsored by the CC Summer Music Festival and CC Summer Festival of the Arts.
