Add Review/CommentIn this one-day course taught by writer Kathryn Eastburn, we will explore the rich literary territory of the personal essay, memoir, and narrative journalism. Participants will come prepared to discuss contemporary selections chosen by the instructor and distributed prior to the course; and to participate in a series of hands-on exercises designed to generate ideas and unleash the inner memoirist. We'll end the day with a brief overview of the creative nonfiction publishing market.
