Add Review/CommentIn a quest to find her own voice, 15-year-old Ana Maria is pulled in many directions as she struggles to find the balance between her Mexican heritage and being an American teen. Through her journey, she begins to discover the value of family heritage to her own identity, and her father realizes the importance of looking to the future. This one-act opera in English and Spanish, En Mis Palabras offers a thoughtful and moving free evening for the whole family. Presented by Central City Opera. Composed by Roger Ames, Libretto by Jeffrey Gilden. Sponsored by the CC Summer Festival of the Arts.
