This summer the American Red Cross and The Colorado Mountain Club are working together for the "Summer of Summits '08." This event is a self paced fundraiser drawing on individuals, families, friends and co-workers. The event is essentially whatever you want it to be–it could be a walk in the foothills, a hike up Quandary, or a climb up the 3rd Flatiron. The motivation? The money raised goes directly to the Pikes Peak chapters of your American Red Cross (ARC), and the Colorado Mountain Club (PPGCMC).

•Email Pete Elliott at pelliott@pparc.org or call 719 785 2702 to request your registration packet or get more information.
•Fill out info and return. All the "tools" you need will be provided.
•Put together a team as a team captain, or sign up for a team, and pick an event that takes place between July 19th and August 3rd. Teams can decide what they want their event to be. Teams should be 10 or less depending on the nature of your event.
•The goal for each team member is a minimum of $500.00 although every little bit is great!
•Complete your event with your team, turn in your fundraising efforts, and attend the after event dinner where we will hand out prizes including outdoor gear and gift cards. There will be prizes for all sorts of categories, but the biggest prizes are for fundraising performance.
